MEETING ON MONDAY INSTEAD
Alright. The last post, forget about it.
Meeting will be postponed to,

DAY:MONDAY
DATE: 3rd SEPTEMBER 2007
TIME: 10am
VENUE: Snack Bar

Right now, here's a list of things you guys HAVE TO DO.
By the meeting next week,
ALL THESE HAVE TO BE CONFIRMED.
I want to see it completed asap.
It's a long list so listen up well!

Expedition Leaders
-Ensure location of launch off point.
-Equipment list of items needed
-Speed boat to be available for expedition
- Where/how to raft up at Malaysian customs. Appoint someone in charge of each lot so there will not be any confusion.
-Come up with landmarks as identification for rowers to hit, so as to create some sort of motivation/target to reach it and then move on again.
-Assignment of rowers to each kayak – One strong one weak, not necessarily must be girl/girl guy/guy. Mix both juniors and seniors together.

Creative Advisers
-T-shirt design and contacts
-Price of T-shirt
-To be presented before or after camp
-Camera and Video Camera

Secretary
-Work with all departments to get prices of every item
-Collate overall prices
-Collect money from members and tally it with participant list
-Take minutes for every single meeting and upload main points to gmail/blog


Logistics
-Check for boats from schools
-Work with ELs to get boats
-Check conditions of EACH boat, ensure there are buoyancies, decklines, no cracks on the sides etc.
-Create a list of Serial numbers for boats
-Get list from each department to see what they require
-
Transportation of boats from kallang to launch off point– Lorry

Food and Beverage
-Menu (Food must be easy to cook and available in whole quantities eg. Fried rice, noodles etc)
-Food list and prices
-Ice boxes to store food
-Food testing
-Back up plans for emergencies (Loss of food, Not enough)


Activity Coordinators
-Final games list
-Final programme list
-Equipment needed (If any)
- Wet weather programme. In case bad weather does not permit outdoor games, other activities have to be planned.
-List of DVDs/games/entertainment stuff for Rest and Relax time

-Groupings of members

Alright. I know there are alot of things on the list but i know you guys can do it,
and it will be done.
The expedition will be coming real soon, and i'm sure we want it to be a success.
I want everybody to be in on this and department heads, please include your members in the deicision making and assign them to help you. For those who know that you are not helping much, please take the initiative to. It is not easy handling the workload, Especially the ELs and Logistics because you guys have to work together.
If you do not have their emails, ask me, Lionel or any advisers.
